| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar os desafios enfrentados por trabalhadores transexuais para inserção e manutenção no mercado de trabalho. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa. O método aqui empregado foi dedutivo, através de uma entrevista semiestruturada, levantamento bibliográfico e documental. A pesquisa aqui apresentada foi do tipo exploratória e descritiva. Os sujeitos aqui abordados foram trabalhadores transexuais. Para a análise de conteúdo, o método foi o proposto por Bardin através de um conjunto de instrumentos metodológicos devido à diversificação de discursos. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio da realização de entrevistas presenciais que teve como base um roteiro semiestruturado. Para a análise dos dados, as respostas foram agrupadas em 4 categorias temáticas, sendo elas barreiras e desafios, discriminação, estratégias e legislação. Evidenciou- se neste estudo que diversos são os desafios enfrentados pelo público transexual no que diz respeito ao mercado de trabalho. Em todos os relatos colhidos houve declaração de discriminação sofrida por estes. Quanto à discriminação, constatou-se que ela pode ocorrer de maneira velada ou explícita. Dentre as dificuldades apontadas, a que tomou posição de destaque foi o fato de os empregadores levarem em consideração aspectos valorativos acima das capacidades e qualificações dos entrevistado. A associação que se faz de mulheres transexuais à prostituição foi apontada em alguns momentos das entrevistas, levando mulheres trans a passarem por situações de tentarem o emprego e, no momento da seleção, a pessoa responsável pela contratação declarar sentir receio devido à imagem de brigas decorrentes da discriminação sobre as transexuais que usam a prostituição nas ruas como meio sobrevivência. Através do discurso de alguns entrevistados, evidenciou-se que indivíduos transexuais que atingem o chamado grau de passabilidade enfrentam menor dificuldade no mercado de trabalho, visto que, ao olhar da sociedade em geral, eles conseguem facilmente passar-se por cisgêneros. Sugere-se que mais estudos voltados a pessoas trans e o mercado de trabalho sejam realizados para que a sociedade tenha conhecimento da importância da inclusão deste público no mercado formal e o quanto isso impacta nas relações interpessoais e nos aspectos psicológicos destas pessoas. |
| Abstract: | This research aimed to analyse the difficulties faced by transsexual workers for the labor market insertion and maintenancing. It is a qualitative research. The method used here was deductive, through a semi-structured interview, bibliographical and documentary survey. The research was exploratory and descriptive. The individuals of the research were transsexual workers. As for the method of analysis, we adopted content analysis based on the Bardin method that consists as a set of methodological instruments because of the diversification of discourses. The data collection was carried out by conducting face-to-face interviews based on a semi-structured script. For the analysis of the data, the answers were grouped into 4 thematic categories. It was evidenced in this study that there are several challenges faced by the transsexual public with regard to the labor market. In all the reports collected there was a declaration of discrimination suffered by them. As types of discrimination, it has been found that it can occur in a veiled or explicit way. Among the difficulties pointed out, the one that took a prominent position was the fact that the employers take into consideration valuation aspects above the capacities and qualifications of the interviewees. The association of transsexual women with prostitution was pointed out at some point in the interview, leading trans women to go through situations of attempted employment and, at the time of selection, the person responsible for contraction declares to feel fear due to the image of ensuing fights of discrimination against transsexuals who use street prostitution as a means of survival. Through the discourse of some interviews, it has been shown that transsexual individuals who reach the so-called degree of passability face less difficulty in the labor market, since, in the eyes of society in general, they can easily pass through cisgenders. It is suggested that more studies aimed at trans people and the labor market be conducted so that society is aware of the importance of including this public in the formal market and how much this impacts on the interpersonal relationships and the psychological aspects of these people. |
