| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente trabalho emerge da urgência em pautar as relações raciais no processo do fracasso escolar, visto que o Brasil é um país que se consolidou a partir do atravessamento do racismo. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o conteúdo crítico ao fracasso escolar e compreender como as relações raciais estão interseccionadas nesse debate. Para investigar tal questão, no primeiro momento foi realizada uma revisão de literatura, com artigos relacionados ao tema através do Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO) e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde – Psicologia Brasil (BVS-Psi). A organização ocorreu em duas etapas. Na primeira etapa, foi feito o levantamento bibliográfico sobre racismo. A segunda etapa, análise dos artigos nas bases indexadoras, procurando aproximações e desencontros nas relações entre racismo e fracasso escolar. Para a realização dessa coleta, se utilizou indexadores booleanos “fracasso escolar AND racismo”; “desigualdade racial OR escola pública”. Após o emprego dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, o levantamento resultou em um total de vinte e oito artigos que foram lidos, fichados e organizados em três categorias. A primeira categoria reúne os textos em que havia ausência de relações entre racismo e fracasso escolar. A segunda categoria agrupa os artigos que fazem menção ao racismo, no entanto, sem estabelecer articulações com o fracasso escolar. A terceira categoria compila os textos que trazem articulações entre racismo e fracasso escolar. Nos textos das primeira e segunda categorias, a culpabilização pelo fracasso escolar recai em três dimensões: individual, familiar e de classe social. Na terceira categoria, por fim, o racismo se apresenta como um fenômeno associado ao fracasso escolar. O sistema educacional brasileiro foi construído sob influência de teorias racistas, nesse sentido, compreende-se a importância de analisar o fracasso escolar através do racismo. Dessa forma, os resultados apresentados versam sobre a propagação de desigualdade racial no processo educacional brasileiro, culminando em um ambiente propício para a produção do fracasso escolar nos contextos de vida e de desenvolvimento de estudantes negros e negras. |
| Abstract: | The present work emerges from the urgency of guiding racial relations in the process of school failure, since Brazil is a country that has consolidated itself from the crossing of racism. This research aimed to analyze the critical content of school failure and understand how racial relations are intersected in this debate. To investigate this issue, at first, a literature review was carried out, with articles related to the theme through the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and the Virtual Health Library - Psicologia Brasil (BVS-Psi). The organization took place in two stages. In the first stage, a bibliographic survey on racism was carried out. The second stage, analysis of the articles in the index databases, looking for similarities and disagreements in the relationship between racism and school failure. To carry out this collection, Boolean indexers “school failure AND racism” were used; “racial inequality OR public school”. After using the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the survey resulted in a total of twenty-eight articles that were read, registered and organized into three categories. The first category brings together texts in which there was no relationship between racism and school failure. The second category groups articles that mention racism, however, without establishing connections with school failure. The third category compiles the texts that bring articulations between racism and school failure. In the texts of the first and second categories, blaming for school failure falls into three dimensions: individual, family and social class. Finally, in the third category, racism is presented as a phenomenon associated with school failure. The Brazilian educational system was built under the influence of racist theories, in this sense, the importance of analyzing school failure through racism is understood. Thus, the results presented deal with the propagation of racial inequality in the Brazilian educational process, culminating in an environment conducive to the production of school failure in the contexts of life and development of black students. |
