| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente trabalho acadêmico descreve um caso atendido durante o período de estágio curricular obrigatório no Centro de Especialidades e Internação Veterinário – CEIV, entre os dias 15 de agosto de 2022 a 27 de outubro de 2022, sob orientação da Profª. Dra. Andrea Cintra Bastos Torres Passos e a supervisão da Médica Veterinária Especialista Franciane Lidia Cesar. Este período foi dedicado a duas áreas de atuação: Clínica Médica de pequenos animais e Clínica Cirúrgica de Pequenos Animais. O trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar as atividades desenvolvidas, casuísticas do local e o relato do caso clínico de obstrução uretral em um felino, sem raça definida, macho de 4 meses de idade, neste relato serão abordados os sinais clínicos e tratamento realizado no paciente. A obstrução uretral é uma afecção urológica urgente na clínica felina e é vista como uma manifestação corriqueira e eventualmente fatal da doença do trato urinário inferior felino – DTUIF. |
| Abstract: | This academic work describes a case treated during the period of mandatory curricular internship at the Center for Specialties and Veterinary Hospitalization - CEIV, between August 15, 2022 and October 27, 2022, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Andrea Cintra Bastos Torres Passos and the supervisor of Veterinary Doctor Franciane Lidia Cesar. This period was dedicated to two areas of activity, Internal Medicine and Small Animal Surgery. Finally, it aims to present the activities carried out, casuistry of the place and the report of the clinical case of urethral personality in a feline, mixed breed, male and with only 4 months of age, the clinical signs and the treatment were observed. performed on the patient. Urethral leakage is an urgent urological condition in the feline clinic and is seen as a common and eventually fatal manifestation of Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease - FLUTD. |
