metadata.dc.description.resumo:	Um dos grandes objetivos da escola e dos professores de língua portuguesa é formar alunos que saibam usar a língua de uma forma mais formal e eficiente, em todas as interações sociais em que se encontrar, seja ela oral, escrita, formal e informal. Contudo, as aulas de língua portuguesa estão normalmente focadas no ensino de gramática normativa como o único meio de desenvolver estas competências comunicativas, como, falar e escrever bem. Entretanto, assim como a gramática normativa, o ensino do vocabulário colabora para um ensino de língua portuguesa que amplie os conhecimentos dos educandos, tornando-os capazes ao usar a língua, como, por exemplo, ao falar e ao escrever. Entretanto, no âmbito das salas de aulas, o léxico geralmente é limitado a atividades breves e muitas vezes ineficazes. Este trabalho apresenta uma breve análise reflexiva de questões relacionadas ao tratamento do léxico no ensino- aprendizagem de língua portuguesa, a partir da análise de três livros didáticos do Ensino Médio. A pesquisa tem por eixo norteador a investigação do ensino do léxico com base na ampliação de vocabulário, e como esse ensino pode auxiliar no desenvolvimento das competências comunicativas dos educandos, ou seja, falar, escrever e compreender bem.
Abstract:	One of the great objectives of the school and the teachers of Portuguese language is to train students who know how to use the language in aa more formal and efficient way, in all social situations in which they find themselves, oral, written, formal and informal. However, Portuguese language classes are usually focused on teaching normative grammar as the only means of developing these communicative skills. However, as well as normative grammar, vocabulary teaching contributes to a Portuguese language teaching that broadens students’ knowledge, making them able to use the language. In the schools, the lexicon is limited to short and often ineffective activities. This work presents a brief reflexive analysis of questions related to the treatment of lexicon in the teaching of Portuguese language, based on analyzes of three textbooks of High School. The research has a its guiding principle the investigation of the teaching of lexicon based on the expansion of vocabulary, and how this teaching can help in the development of students communication skills, that is, speaking, writing and understanding well.
