| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | A Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) é uma modalidade de ensino destinada aos jovens e adultos que não tiveram acesso à educação na escola convencional na idade apropriada e que de alguma forma foram excluídos do processo de escolarização. Neste sentido, o presente trabalho traz como temática o mapeamento sistemático dos sujeitos da EJA no Estado do Tocantins e busca de forma objetiva entender como se dá esse processo. De maneira específica, pretende-se conhecer os marcos históricos da Educação de Jovens e adultos no Tocantins, compreender a EJA no Estado, identificar a estrutura organizacional das escolas que atendem essa modalidade de ensino, mapear programas e projetos destinados a formação de professores da mesma e apresentar dados específicos sobre os sujeitos da EJA. Metodologicamente o trabalho está pautado na realização de uma pesquisa bibliográfica de cunho exploratório e descritivo, onde foi analisado por meio de livros, artigos e alguns documentos oficiais que regem a Educação no Brasil a respeito de tal abordagem, a fim de analisar o ensino e aprendizagem da modalidade Educação de Jovens e Adultos no Estado do Tocantins, a exemplo dos estudos de Paulo Freire, Alves (1996), Brasil (2000), Cortez (2001), Soares (2002), Araújo (2010), dentre outros. A partir do levantamento bibliográficos realizado, conclui-se que a Educação de Jovens e Adultos no Tocantins é bastante primária, assim como o próprio Estado, mas que é realizado um trabalho primordial com o intuito de fortalecer essa modalidade de ensino, e fomentar a sua difusão. Mas cabe ressaltar que ainda há muito a ser feito, muitos jovens e adultos ainda não tiveram a oportunidade de voltar a sala de aula e concluir os seus estudos, falta investimento em formação para os professores, salários dignos, material didático, programas de acesso e permanência desses sujeitos na escola, e principalmente, é preciso que haja uma ruptura do preconceito que ainda impera no que diz respeito a essa modalidade de ensino. |
| Abstract: | Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a teaching modality aimed at young people and adults who did not have access to education in the conventional school at the appropriate age and who were somehow excluded from the schooling process. In this sense, the present work has as its theme the systematic mapping of EJA subjects in the State of Tocantins and it seeks to objectively understand how this process takes place. Specifically, it is intended to know the historical landmarks of Youth and Adult Education in Tocantins, understand EJA in the State, identify the organizational structure of schools that serve this type of education, map programs and projects aimed at training teachers of the same and to present specific data about the subjects of the EJA. Methodologically, the work is based on carrying out a bibliographic research of an exploratory and descriptive nature, where it was analyzed through books, articles and some official documents that govern Education in Brazil regarding such an approach in order to analyze the teaching and learning of Youth and Adult Education modality in the State of Tocantins, following the example of studies by Paulo Freire, Alves (1996), Brazil (2000), Cortez (2001), Soares (2002), Araújo (2010) among others. From the bibliographic survey carried out, it is concluded that Youth and Adult Education in Tocantins is quite primary, as is the State itself, but that a primordial work is carried out with the aim of strengthening this type of education, and promoting its diffusion. But it should be noted that there is still a lot to be done, many young people and adults have not yet had the opportunity to return to the classroom and complete their studies, there is a lack of investment in teacher training, decent salaries, didactic material, access programs and permanence of these subjects in school, and above all, there must be a rupture of the prejudice that still prevails with regard to this type of education. |
