metadata.dc.description.resumo: O Estágio Curricular Supervisionado foi realizado na Clínica Veterinária Universitária da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (CVU-UFT), em Araguaína-TO, entre os dias 11 de maio e 09 de julho de 2021, com carga horária de 8 horas diárias, contabilizando 352 horas. Foram realizadas atividades na área de clínica médica de pequenos animais, sob supervisão do Médico Veterinário Drº. Leonardo Vaz Burns e orientação da Profª. Drª. Andressa Francisca Silva Nogueira. Durante o período de estágio foram acompanhados 53 animais, destes 47 cães e 9 gatos. O relato de caso tratou-se de eclâmpsia em cadela. A paciente, 5 anos, SRD, 28 dias após o parto apresentou paresia dos membros, fasciculação dos músculos dos membros torácicos, hipertermia, taquipneia e sialorreia. No exame físico apresentava-se responsiva a estímulos, em decúbito, em quadro de tetania, tempo de preenchimento capilar de 1 segundo, mucosas róseas, frequência de 112 batimentos por minuto apresentando arritmia, pulso forte e rítmico, taquipneia, temperatura retal de 40,3 C° e glicemia de 86 mg/dL. Exames complementares revelaram anemia, trombocitopenia, hipoproteinemia, hipoglobulinemia e concentração de ALT e FA aumentadas indicando um quadro de eclâmpsia. Foi administrado fluidoterapia com solução fisiológica 0,9%, cálcio 10%, 0,22 mL/kg, e glicose 50%, 0,5 mL/kg e resfriamento com compressas de gelo. A paciente respondeu rapidamente ao tratamento com o desaparecimento das alterações e sintomatologia clínica, confirmando-se assim a suspeita de eclampsia.
Abstract: The Supervised Curricular Internship was held at the University Veterinary Clinic of the Federal University of Tocantins (CVU-UFT), in Araguaína-TO, the internship period took place between May 11, 2021 and July 9, 2021, with a workload of 8 hours per day accounting for 352 hours of internship. Activities were carried out in the area of medical clinic of small animals, under the supervision of veterinarian Dr. Leonardo Vaz Burns and guidance of Teacher Andressa Francisca Silva Nogueira. This report is composed of the description of the place of internship and its operation, the activities developed during the internship period, the followed-up series and the procedures that were performed. During the internship period, 56 visits were followed, of these 47 animals were of the canine species and 9 of the feline species. This report presente a case about late eclampsia in five yars old female dog birth of a big brooding there are 28 day. The animal come to emergency atendimento presenting limb paresis, fasciculation of the muscles of the forelimbs, hyperthermia tachypnea, drooling. In anamnesis was reported that animal was anormal bleeding during the parturition and she was breastfeeding six puppies. Was report that was not done any kind of supplementation during the gestation ou after parturition. The food was based in homemade food. After the physical exam and the historic of animal was done emergency treatment with fluid therapy with saline solution0,9%, calcium10%, 0,22 mL/kg, glucose50%, 0,5 mL/kg and animal cooling with ice pack. The positive response of the animal to the treatment and the exclusion of other neurological disorders it was concluded that was eclampsia.
