| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O autismo é um transtorno global de desenvolvimento, caracterizando interações sociais limitadas, comunicação restrita, além de um padrão de movimentos e comportamento metódicos e estereotipados. O presente trabalho objetivou realizar levantamento sobre o que se tem produzido na literatura científica quanto ao cuidado do portador de Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) em família. A pesquisa é uma revisão narrativa de literatura, na qual se utilizou as bases de dados da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde – BVS, LILACS e Scielo. Resultados: Foram encontrados 270 artigos, dos quais 31 deles foram selecionados conforme critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Conclusão: Identifica-se que há uma escassez quanto ao material bibliográfico relacionado ao Cuidar do Autista e Família, no qual os poucos estudos levantados apontam para a necessidade do conhecimento à cerca do Autismo por profissionais de Enfermagem. Frente ao diagnóstico, observou-se que os estudos brasileiros apontam que este é dado de forma tardia e se demonstra como um momento que envolve grande sofrimento por maior parte das famílias. |
| Abstract: | Autism is a global developmental disorder characterized by limited social interactions, restricted communication, and pattern of methodical and stereotyped movements and behavior. The aim of this study was to investigate what has been produced in the scientific literature regarding the care of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their family. The research is a bibliographical review of literature, in which the databases of the Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde - BVS, LILACS, and SciELO were used. Results: 270 articles were found, of which 31 were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Conclusion: It is identified that there is a shortage of bibliographical material related to Caring for the Autistic and Family, in which the few studies have pointed out the need for knowledge about autism by nursing professionals. In face of the diagnosis, it was observed that the Brazilian studies indicate that this is given late and is demonstrated as a moment that involves great suffering by most families. |
