Abstract: Some researches have revealed that some defensives can confer not only a protective effect, but also promoting modifications in the physiology of the plants, giving help in the development of the culture, therefore, this work had as objective to evaluate the response of soy plants to the application of fungicides in three reproductive stages, taking into account the correlation between the variables. The experiment occurred in the experimental area of the Federal University of Tocantins, campus of Gurupi, located at 282 m of altitude, in the period of the 2018/2019 harvest. The cultivar used was HO JURUENA IPRO 84I85 RSF. The experimental design was that of random blocks, with eight treatments (7 fungicides + Control - no application) and four repetitions: ATI - Pyraclostrobin + Epoxiconazole + Fluxapiroxade; CARB - Carbendazim; EXF - Benzovindiflupir + Ciproconazole + Difenoconazole; FOX - Bixafen + Prothioconazole + Trifloxystrobin; OXI - Fluxapiroxade + Copper Oxychloride; SPOT - Dimoxystrobin + Boscalide; TRID - Azoxystrobin + Tebuconazole + Mancozeb. The applications of the chemical products occurred 50, 64 and 78 days after planting, which correspond respectively to the stages R1, R3 and R5. After 5 days after the application, the following variables were evaluated: leaf area and specific leaf area, total dry mass, percentage of leaves, relative growth rate, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium contents and the weight of a thousand seeds. Among the variables under study, the leaf area and the specific leaf area were the ones that obtained the greatest prominence, positive and/or negative, and the variable weight of a thousand seeds was the one that presented less participation in the multivariate variation analysis. Among the treatments used, those that had the greatest contribution to the multivariate analysis variation were TRID, ATI, OXI and SPOT in comparison with the control, there were physiological responses by the plants due to the application of the defensives, even if negative.
