Abstract: For the best performance of the millet culture (Pennisetum glaucum), the choice of the best spacing between rows of plants and the choice of the source of nitrogen fertilization are important factors in the production system. The objective was to evaluate the spacing between lines and nitrogen sources in the millet culture in the Cerrado-Amazonian Ecotone. The experiment was carried out in the field, in a randomized block design, with a 3x2 factorial arrangement, with four replications. There are three arrangements of spacing between lines (40 cm, 60 cm and 80 cm), and two sources of nitrogen (urea and ammonium sulfate). As comments were made on plant height, the length of the knot and the diameter of the knot; leaf dry matter, stem dry matter, panicle dry matter, dead material dry matter and total dry matter. Based on the results obtained, it was evidenced that both the nitrogen sources and the spacing between lines did not differ. Consequently, it can be observed that for nitrogen, either urea or ammonium sulfate can be used, both with good productive responses. And the arrangement of the plants by reducing the spacing at the end of the production result is similar.
