Abstract: Structural analysis is fundamental in the design of reinforced concrete structures molded in loco. In this process, the rigidity of beam-column connections is one of the most important topics to be evaluated. In this context, this work analyzes the influence of beam-column connections in a reinforced concrete structure molded in loco of a multi-storey building using a theoretical analytical model to determine the stiffness of the connections. For this, the structure designed for the project was modeled for the condition of rigid and semi-rigid connections. The modeling of the structure was done using the Eberick software and the percentages of partial setting were obtained through the theoretical analytical model of Ferreira, El Debs and Elliott (2003) from an iterative process. It was observed that regarding the calculation parameters of the software considering the spatial frame model, the change in the stiffness of the connections has repercussions throughout the structure, affecting the Gamma Z parameter (γz), the horizontal displacement and the effort distribution in the structure. Regarding the results, it was observed that there was a variation of 11% to 86% in the percentages of partial clamping reached by the beam-column connections of the type and the floor. It was also found that there were critical increases in γz and in total horizontal displacement at the top of the structure. In addition, it was observed, in general due to the flexibility of the connections, a behavior of reduction of negative bending moments and increase of the positive moments of the beams, an increase of axial forces in the columns and an increase of moment in the slabs. Regarding steel consumption, it was found that there was an increase of approximately 12%. The results showed that the disparities found from the model with rigid connections to the model with semi-rigid connections indicate that the neglect in the careful evaluation of the connection stiffness in the structural analysis process can result in unsafe and unstable structures.
