dc.description.abstract	Introduction: Brazil is experiencing an epidemic of cesarean sections, and Health Education is a great ally in the fight against this reality. It is necessary to invest in actions that raise awareness and encourage reflections on the importance of natural and humanized childbirth, in order to change the national scenario, reducing the rates of elective cesarean sections, with the Lua de Luz Course being a tool of great importance as a process. educational, promoting autonomy of pregnant women and their companions. Objective: This study aimed to know the influence of the educational actions of the Lua de Luz Project on the choices of the participating women regarding the chosen route of delivery. Methodology: Quantitative descriptive study. The research population involved 39 women former participants of the Lua de Luz Project, which takes place every six months at a public higher education institution in the municipality of Palmas Tocantins. Results: Women with a mean age of 32.8 years old, ranging from 21 to 47 years old, participated in the study. As for the outcome of the mode of delivery, 21 (53.9%) women reported that they had their babies through spontaneous or induced normal/vaginal delivery, 11 (28.2%) women went into labor, but the outcome of the delivery, was cesarean, 8 (20.5%) through medical indication in the intrapartum period and 3 (7.7%) by request of the woman herself after the beginning of labor, 6 (15.3%) women reported cesarean section with medical indication, before labor and 1 (2.6%) underwent elective cesarean section, previously scheduled, by decision of her or the doctor, without specific indication. When asked about the influence of the Lua de Luz Course, 35 women (89.7%) responded that the course influenced their decision, while 3 women (7.7%) said it did not and 1 participant (2.6% ) did not answer. Conclusion: The Course acts as a space for mutual learning between pregnant couples and the team that produces and coordinates the Lua de Luz Course, also generating moments of enormous professional enrichment for academics. It prepares nursing students to perform quality prenatal care, which may become a very important part of the development of female protagonism during prenatal care, promoting health to the mother and child binomial, transforming indicators and outcomes	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	Introdução: O Brasil vive um cenário de epidemia de cesarianas, sendo a Educação em Saúde uma grande aliada no combate a essa realidade. Faz-se necessário o investimento em ações que sensibilizem e fomentem reflexões sobre a importância do parto natural e humanizado, com intuito de modificar o cenário nacional, reduzindo as taxas de cesarianas eletivas, sendo o Curso Lua de Luz uma ferramenta de grande importância como processo educativo, promovendo autonomia das gestantes e seus acompanhantes. Objetivo: Este estudo teve como objetivo conhecer a influência das ações educativas do Projeto Lua de Luz nas escolhas das mulheres participantes quanto à via de parto escolhida. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo quantitativo. A população da pesquisa envolveu 39 mulheres ex-participantes do Projeto Lua de Luz, que acontece semestralmente em uma instituição pública de ensino superior no município de Palmas Tocantins. Resultados: Participaram do estudo mulheres com idade média entre 32,8 anos, variando entre 21 a 47 anos. Quanto ao desfecho da via de parto, 21(53,9%) mulheres relataram que tiveram seus bebês através de parto normal/vaginal espontâneo ou induzido, 11 (28,2%) mulheres entraram em trabalho de parto, porém o desfecho da via de parto, foi a cesariana, sendo 8 (20,5%) através de indicação médica no período intraparto e 3 (7,7%) por pedido da própria mulher após o início do trabalho de parto, 6 (15,3%) mulheres relataram cesariana com indicação médica, antes do trabalho de parto e 1(2,6%) realizou cesariana eletiva, agendada previamente, por decisão dela ou do médico, sem indicação específica. Quando consultadas em relação à influência do Curso Lua de Luz, 35 mulheres (89,7%) responderam que o curso influenciou em sua decisão, enquanto 3 mulheres (7,7%) disseram que não influenciou e 1 participante (2,6%) não respondeu. Conclusão: O Curso atua como um espaço de aprendizado mútuo entre os casais grávidos e a equipe que produz e coordena o Curso Lua de Luz, gerando também momentos de enorme enriquecimento profissional aos acadêmicos. Prepara os estudantes de enfermagem para realizar um pré-natal de qualidade, podendo vir a tornar-se uma peça muito importante no desenvolvimento do protagonismo feminino durante o pré-natal, promovendo saúde ao binômio mãe e filho, transformando indicadores e desfechos	pt_BR
