Gluteoplastia

Abstract

Gluteoplasty is, both in Brazil and in the world, one of the procedures with the highest percentage increase in plastic surgery. New techniques are emerging every day, however some of the established ones tend to be performed more often, such as fat grafting, implantation of silicone prosthesis and association of both methods. These techniques have benefited from anatomical and pathophysiological studies of the graft, generating greater satisfaction and fewer complications. Individualization by physical and clinical factors of the patients is also necessary for the choice of the procedure to be performed, this leads to positive results and reduces complications such as graft absorption, unsightly results and new approaches.
