dc.description.abstractThe present study adds mathematical modeling from a perspective of mathematical education in the teaching and learning process, aiming to acquire mathematical knowledge in real problem situations. Mathematical modeling in turn, in a simple way, boils down to the creation of a mathematical model, a pattern or mathematical formula, to explain or understand qualitative learning. Bringing modeling as an innovative process to an investigative path that scientifically permeates growth in favor of teaching strategies where the educator provides a vision of knowledge in the constant search for new education. Therefore, mathematical modeling is an innovative way in the search to transform the different problematizations of mathematics with excellence, implementing a teaching-learning process that educates and educates.pt_BR
