Diário de Bordo: uma viagem poética pela maternidade

Abstract

This is an autobiographical research in which I sought to reflect and discuss the importance of motherhood for me. It is a deep reflection that spans three generations, looking at my role as a daughter and mother. Questions that encompass the importance of having had this moral and affective support throughout my existence, structuring myself as a person of character and responsibility capable of facing and overcoming any obstacle that comes my way. This analysis of the construction of my identity takes place through the artistic making, where a Logbook was made involving a collective process between my mother, my daughter and me. Through drawings, collages, words, texts, among others, we explore thoughts and feelings in a poetic journey to the past, present and future, where motherhood and its ramifications are reflected. Authors such as Maria Arruda Aranha, Maria Augusta Sanches and Sandra Rey help me to structure my reflections on motherhood, family support and research in Visual Arts. Artists such as José Leonilson Bezerra Dias, Lygia Clark and Frida Kahlo collaborate with poetics and aesthetics in my artistic work. This work led me to build reports of myself as a human being and mother, of my mother and daughter as inspiration, motivation and strength.
