| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar as transformações da paisagem no município de Buriti do Tocantins, região do Bico do Papagaio, Tocantins, identificando as principais atividades e processos que transformaram a paisagem na área de estudo, com recorte temporal de 2013 a 2023. No âmbito do estudo foi realizada uma visita a campo no mês de setembro de 2023, esse procedimento visou documentar áreas específicas do município, com foco em duas categorias de análise, a cobertura vegetal e o uso da terra. Ao longo de uma década, compreendida entre 2013 e 2023, foi possível constatar alterações significativas na configuração da paisagem em Buriti do Tocantins, com desmatamentos e aumento da pecuária em grande escala. Algumas medidas podem ser utilizadas para recuperar essas áreas degradadas: adubação verde, sistemas agroflorestais, manejo e rotação de culturas, delimitação de áreas nascentes e o plantio de espécies nativas. A conscientização da população sobre os efeitos a curto e longo prazo das ações antrópicas no território e com o auxílio do poder público, além da criação de alternativas/políticas são fundamentais para manutenção da cobertura vegetal. |
| Abstract: | The present work aimed to investigate the transformations of the landscape in the municipality of Buriti do Tocantins, Bico do Papagaio region, Tocantins, identifying the main activities and processes that transformed the landscape in the study area, with a time frame from 2013 to 2023. In Within the scope of the study, a field visit was carried out in September 2023, this procedure aimed to document specific areas of the municipality, focusing on two categories of analysis, vegetation cover and land use. Over the course of a decade, between 2013 and 2023, it was possible to observe significant changes in the configuration of the landscape in Buriti do Tocantins, with deforestation and an increase in large-scale livestock farming. Some measures can be used to recover these degraded areas: green manure, groforestry systems, crop management and rotation, delimitation of spring areas and the planting of native species. Raising awareness among the population about the short and longterm effects of anthropogenic actions in the territory and with the help of public authorities, in addition to the creation of alternatives/policies, are essential for maintaining vegetation cover. |
