| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Neste trabalho de caráter exploratório, do tipo pesquisa bibliográfica, tivemos por objetivo analisar o processo de militarização das escolas públicas, especificamente na cidade de Araguaína/TO. Para a realização deste estudo foi necessário inicialmente rever como ocorreu a reforma educacional no Brasil e a implementação dos Colégios Militares no Brasil. Com isso, o conceito de escola cívico-militar, propaga-se como resposta a anseios patrióticos, no entanto, é criticado por potencialmente distorcer os objetivos educacionais preconizados pela Constituição de 1988. Com isso, com a atualidade do tema, tem-se uma escassez de artigos sobre a temática dos Colégios Cívico-Militares no Tocantins, ademais, os resultados da pesquisa apontaram que o sistema escolar civil-militar viola as leis e políticas educacionais brasileiras sem qualquer base epistemológica, pois este modelo dificulta a individualidade dos estudantes significativamente, bem como o desenvolvimento de políticas de investigação e educação. Onde as principais consequências destacadas são o enfraquecimento e a repressão democrática do comportamento, do pensamento e das práticas educativas. Aponta também para a desvalorização geral da educação, onde este modelo de escola se preocupa mais com a disciplina do que com o ensino. |
| Abstract: | In this exploratory work, of the bibliographical research type, we aimed to analyze the process of militarization of public schools, specifically in the city of Araguaína/TO. To carry out this study, it was initially necessary to review how the educational reform occurred in Brazil and the implementation of Military Colleges in Brazil. As a result, the concept of a civic-military school spreads as a response to patriotic desires, however, it is criticized for potentially distorting the educational objectives recommended by the 1988 Constitution. As a result, with the current nature of the topic, there is a scarcity of articles on the topic of Civic-Military Colleges in Tocantins, in addition, the research results showed that the civil-military school system violates Brazilian educational laws and policies without any epistemological basis, as this model significantly hinders the individuality of students, as well as the development of research and education policies. Where the main consequences highlighted are the weakening and democratic repression of behavior, thought and educational practices. It also points to the general devaluation of education, where this school model is more concerned with discipline than teaching. |
