| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O estágio curricular foi realizado no período de 28 de março a 01 de junho de 2017, na Fazenda Castanhal no município do brejo grande no estado do Pará. No estagio foi acompanhado todo o processo de produção de bovinos de corte, que consistiu em acompanhar o processo de diagnóstico de gestação por ultrassonografia transretal, pelo veterinário que foi contratado pelo proprietário da fazenda, o processo de nascimento dos bezerros, com todos os cuidados a serem feitos assim que o animal nascia, a desmama, o processo de registro dos animais, o destino dos animais dentro da propriedade após o desmame, que as fêmeas que conseguiam o registro eram usadas para substituir as matrizes mais velhas, sempre escolheu as melhores do lote, já as que não recebiam o registro eram vendidas, o mesmo acontecia com os machos, que ao invés de ficarem na propriedade os machos que conseguiam registros eram vendidos como tourinhos, e os sem registro foram vendidos como “cara limpa”. Neste estágio percebi a grande importância de profissionais de Zootecnia na atuação junto com os Veterinários, pois possibilita unir conhecimentos para ampliar o processo produtivo, principalmente com animais de alto valor genético agregado e evitar perdas econômicas. |
| Abstract: | The training course was carried out from March 28 to May 31, 2017, at the Castanhal Farm in Pará. At the stage it was followed the entire process of production of beef cattle, which consisted of monitoring the process of diagnosis of pregnancy by ultrasonography Transretal, by a veterinarian who was hired by the owner of the farm, the process of birth of the calves, with all the care to be done as soon as the animal was born, weaning, the process of registering the animals, the destiny of the animals inside the property After weaning, that the females that obtained the record were used to replace the older matrices, always choosing the best ones from the lot, since those that did not receive the record were sold, the same happened with the males, that instead of staying in the property The males that obtained records were sold as little boys, and the unregistered ones were sold as "clean faces." At this stage, I realized the great importance of veterinary professionals working together with veterinarians, since it allows to unite knowledge to expand the productive process, especially with animals of high genetic value, avoiding economic losses. |
