| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O trabalho teve a seguinte questão diretriz: quais as contribuições de Florente Nightingale para a Matemática? Com o objetivo estudar as contribuições do legado de Florence Nightingale para a matemática, coloca-se em pauta o diálogo a respeito da história da matemática presente na educação básica no que diz respeito à presença e a representação das mulheres e por que as mulheres são pouco citadas no que se refere à contribuição destas para a matemática, mesmo sendo e tendo grandes participações e contribuições para a construção desse saber. Para isso, traremos os resultados de um estudo bibliográfico, enquadra-se na pesquisa qualitativa. Apresentamos reflexões pertinentes de como o patrimônio de Florence Nightingale pode ser um embasamento para compreendemos como se dá essa exclusão da figura feminina na educação acadêmica e básica, usando como ferramenta de mudança desse contexto a aplicação da interdisciplinaridade no ensino aprendizagem. |
| Abstract: | The work had the following guiding question: what are Florence Nightingale's contributions to mathematics? With the objective study how contributions of Florence Nightingale's legacy to mathematics, placing in the agenda the dialogue regarding the history of mathematics present in basic education with regard to the presence and representation of women and why women are rarely entioned in terms of their contribution to mathematics, even though they are and have great participation and contributions to the construction of this knowledge. For that, we will bring the results of a bibliographic study, fitting in the qualitative research. We present relevant reflections on how Florence Nightingale's heritage can be a foundation for understanding how this exclusion of the female figure occurs in academic and basic education, using interdisciplinarity in teaching as a tool to change this context. |
