metadata.dc.description.resumo: A situação vivenciada por mulheres pescadoras das comunidades ribeirinhas é caracterizada por lutas, desafios e construções diferenciadas sobre os papeis sociais atribuídos aos homens e as mulheres. O objetivo deste estudo busca compreender como as mulheres pescadoras do município de Tocantinópolis-TO vivem, mostrando as dificuldades enfrentadas diariamente na atividade da pesca, e como se dão as relações e as compreensões a respeito dos "papéis de gênero” dentro da comunidade pesqueira. Para as análises são utilizadas a História das Mulheres e a História Cultural como aporte teórico. A metodologia utilizada é qualitativa, com a realização de História Oral temática. Devido ao contexto pandêmico gerado pelo vírus SARS-CoV-2, as entrevistas com as três pescadoras participantes da pesquisa foram realizadas por meio da plataforma digital Google Meet. As entrevistas foram gravadas e o termo de cessão de direitos sobre depoimento oral foi registrado ao início e ao fim das entrevistas. O critério de escolha das entrevistadas se baseou em indicações e na disponibilidade e interesse das pescadoras em participar do estudo. Com o estudo, foi possível conhecer o dia a dia na pesca, as formas de aprendizagem do ofício, os vínculos com a Colônia dos Pescadores de Tocantinópolis Z-7, os impactos da construção da barragem de Estreito-MA no fluxo das águas do Rio Tocantins, os diferentes significados do Rio em suas vidas, entre outras questões.
Abstract: The situation experienced by women fishermen from riverside communities is characterized by struggles, challenges and different constructions about the social roles attributed to men and women. The objective of this study seeks to understand how fisherwomen in the municipality of Tocantinópolis-TO live, showing the difficulties faced daily in the fishing activity, and how relationships and understandings regarding "gender roles" within the fishing community take place. For the analyzes, Women's History and Cultural History are used as a theoretical contribution. The methodology used is qualitative, with thematic Oral History. Due to the pandemic context generated by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the interviews with the three fisherwomen participating in the research were carried out through the digital platform Google Meet. The interviews were recorded and the ter The transfer of rights over oral testimony was recorded at the beginning and end of the interviews. The criterion for choosing the interviewees was based on indications and the availability and interest of the fisherwomen in participating in the study. With the study, it was possible to know the day-to-day fishing, the ways of learning the trade, the links with the Colony of Fishermen of Tocantinópolis Z-7, the impacts of the construction of the Estreito-MA dam on the flow of the waters of the River Tocantins, the different meanings of Rio in their lives, among other issues.
