Identificação da oferta turística e análise do potencial do turismo receptivo a partir dos projetos de extensão no museu histórico e cultural de arraias, tocantins

Abstract

The accomplishment of the internship has as principles to develop techniques and knowledge acquired in class in the Superior Course of Technology in Heritage and socioenvironmental Tourism of the Federal University of Tocantins. The stage was developed in the Historical and Cultural Museum of Arraias, with a total of 75 hours, allowing to combine knowledge with the experience lived in the moment of the stage. The positive and negative points were observed, resulting in an increase in the proposal for action, however, taking into account the theoretical knowledge presented during the course and the internship. In this sense, the objective of this work was to point out the potentialities of the Municipality of Arraias for the development of a tourism based on the local characteristics by means of an inventory of the tourist supply of the municipality of Arraias, besides presenting all the activities developed during the internship. With the implementation of the Tourist Assistance Center (CAT), it is expected that this will contribute to a greater number of information services for the promotion of tourism in the municipality and region, allowing a greater permanence of tourists and visitors in this municipality, in the public power can add more value to this "new" source of income, developing public policy so that the attractiveness of the place can be improved, and that this is not just a government policy, as if it was perceived in the administrations municipalities. In this sense, the present technical-scientific report has the objective of presenting the activities developed in the obligatory stage and pointing out the potential of the Municipality of Arraias for the development of tourism based on local characteristics. In this sense, it was observed that the municipality has a great tourist potential but still does not have adequate structure and little qualification for such activity. However, UFT's Heritage and socioenvironmental tourism course can be a factor of sensitization and training for the development of receptive tourism in Arraias and in the Region.
