metadata.dc.description.resumo: A tese tem por objetivo analisara práxis política na sua relação com a formação política no Movimento dosTrabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST), mais especificamente desenvolvida no Bico do Papagaio, Tocantins (TO). As questões que se apresentam são as seguintes: As lutas sociais levadasà prática pelo MST contribuem para a formação política dos sujeitos envolvidos no processo? De que forma a práxis política desenvolvida pelo MST está alinhada à proposta de formação do movimento? Até que ponto este processo gera uma mudança na cultura política dos envolvidos na luta pela terra? A pesquisa apresenta uma abordagem predominantemente qualitativa, mas, também com alguns aportes quantitativos. As técnicas utilizadas foram entrevistas semiestruturadas, questionário (com perguntas abertas e fechadas) e observação sistemática em fóruns, encontros regionais, seminários, ocupações, congressos, processo de formação política, grupos de estudos temáticos e estratégicos do movimento.A pesquisa mostrou que a práxis do MST e a relação com a formação política possibilitam um processo de desalienação, uma vez que o sujeito da ação é o mesmo sujeito da reflexão, e que as ações e estratégias para formação dos seus quadros é efetivamente a práxis. Ao defender a práxis no cotidiano –que pode se configurar tanto nos grandes movimentos de transformações políticas, quanto nas pequenas atividades que conduzam à produção dos meios de vida para a subsistência do sujeito em ação –é que as ocupações, as manifestações, as organizações dos coletivos e assembleias no acampamento se configuram em espaços que contribuem efetivamente no processo de formação dos camponeses em luta pela terra, assim constituindo uma nova cultura política
Abstract: The thesis has the objective to analyze the political praxis in its relation with the political education in the Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra( MST), more specifically developed in Bico do Papagaio, Tocantins (TO). The follow matters are studied: Do the social fights conducted by the MST contribute to the political education of the subjects engaged in the process? How the political praxis developed by the MST is linked with the education proposal of the movement? Up to what point this process generate a change in the political culture of the people involved in the fight for the land? The inquire has a qualitative approach, but it also has some quantitative contributions. The technics employed were semi-structured interviews, survey (with open and closedquestions) and systematic observation in forums, regional meetings, seminars, occupations, conferences, processes of political education, groups of thematic and strategic studies of the movement.The research showed that the praxis of the MST and the relation with the political education allow a process of dealienation, once the subject of action is the same subject of reflection, and the actions and strategies for the education of its cadres are effectively a praxis. They defend the praxis in the quotidian (that may happen in the great movement of political transformation, but also in the little activities that produce the means of live for the subsistence of the subjects in action) and then the occupations, the demonstrations, the organizations of collectives and assemblies in the encampments make spaces that really contribute in the process of education of peasants in fight for the land. In this way, a new political culture is developed.
