dc.description.abstract	This study describes the structural conditions of freight highways in the State of Tocantins. The data were collected at the Infrastructure Secretariat of Tocantins (SeinfTo) and National Confederation of Transport (CNT), and provide a survey of the structural conditions from the year 2001 to the year 2015. The research is descriptive, predominantly documentary, with collection Primary and secondary data. The data show that the State of Tocantins has more than half of its unpaved roads, thus harming the flow of materials and finished products, thus reducing the generation of employment and income in the state. The state is also proposing investment in infrastructure for socioeconomic improvement of the state.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	Este estudo descreve condições estruturais das rodovias para o transporte de carga no Estado do Tocantins. Os dados foram coletados na Secretaria de Infraestrutura do Tocantins (SeinfTo) e Confederação Nacional de Transportes (CNT), e trazem um levantamento das condições estruturais desde o ano de 2001 até o ano de 2015. A pesquisa é descritiva, predominantemente documental, com coleta de dados primários e secundários. Os dados demonstram que o Estado do Tocantins, esta com mais da metade das suas vias não pavimentadas, assim prejudicando a escoação dos materiais e produtos acabados, diminuindo assim a geração de emprego e renda no estado. Mais o estado está com a proposta de investimento em infraestrutura para melhoria socioeconômica do Estado.	pt_BR
