Abstract

This paper aims to present a study and proposal of architectural design of a rehabilitation center for Palmas / TO. The project seeks to encompass concepts of humanization, meeting the specialties of its users, in order to positively influence their well-being and health. The work was structured in three main stages, being stage one the research of the bibliographic references and all the theoretical part of the work, as well as interviews and correlated studies for a better understanding and understanding of the subject, the second one deals with the surveys of the environmental conditions and Finally, step three deals with the architectural proposal of the center and all its justifications. Because it is a hospital architecture, there are rules and laws that must be followed, as they are extremely important for the purpose of the work, since rehabilitation centers are a space for reintegration and integration of people with disabilities, It is a place able to assist the individual in the autonomy to perform their tasks, increasing their self-esteem and confidence, thus improving their quality of life. Given this, we see the importance of designing more human spaces, comfortable and accessible, that is, a humanized architecture that helps improve its users.
